MCB, MCCB and ACB are all circuit breakers, but they are built for very different current ranges and applications.
MCB — Miniature Circuit Breaker
Used for low-current circuits (up to ~125A) in homes and small commercial setups. Compact and DIN-rail mounted.
MCCB — Moulded Case Circuit Breaker
Handles higher currents (up to ~1600A) with adjustable trip settings. Ideal for sub-distribution and motor protection in industry.
ACB — Air Circuit Breaker
Built for very high currents (up to 6300A) at the main incomer of large installations, with advanced protection and metering.
